This bariatric patient was admitted to University Medical Center LSU with abdominal pain and discomfort. The technologist performed a CT scan on the IQon Spectral CT system.

Clinical significance

IQon Spectral results are not limited or restricted to patient size. The decision was made to scan this bariatric patient on the IQon Spectral CT which improved image quality by just applying the 70 monoE results.
