Diagnosis

The images demonstrate a fluid collection in the recess acromioclavicular distal insertion of the supraspinatus tendon which looks uneven at this level. Especially around the proximal long head the biceps tendon appears thickened, uneven as in tenosynovitis and a likely partial fracture.

Impact of Panorama HFO for shoulder imaging

In this MRI case study the 1-tesla high-field open Panarama HFO scanner with a Multi-Purpose Flex M coil provides excellent shoulder imaging.
