CMR demonstrates anterior and anteroseptal hypokinesia on SSFP cine imaging. Mid-wall high signal is suggestive of increases interstial expansion or established fibrosis.

Myocarditis with septal myocardial edema.

Using the Achieva 1.5T and the 32-channel SENSE Torso/Cardiac coil gave crisp, easy-to-interpret cardiac images. With excellent coverage and high SENSE factors, the new coil allows SENSE in any direction for exceptional flexibility.

The 32-channel coil permits images of a higher resolution and image quality to be obtained, thus to aid in diagnosis.
