Whole body diffusion exam on Prodiva 1.5T

Patient history

A 61-year-old female with a malignant lymphoma underwent an MRI exam with whole body diffusion weighted imaging (DWIBS) as well as PET. MRI on Prodiva 1.5T was done at Seirei Mikatahara General Hospital, Japan.

Impact of using Prodiva 1.5T on whole body MRI

In this case study, the resolution of DWIBS is better than on PET, which allows visualization of the small pelvic lesions and almost no distortion is seen in the neck area.
