10th International Highfield MR Symposium - Bonn, October 14-15, 2011

The Department of Radiology of the University of Bonn has announced the International Symposium on Highfield MR in Clinical Applications will be held in Bonn, at the House of the History of the Federal Republic of Germany on October 14 and 15, 2011.

Attendees will discuss the current state of highfield and ultra-highfield MR, as well as the latest developments in these areas, while looking ahead to the exciting future of highfield imaging. Clinicians and researchers from around the world will present clinical and research studies of highfield MRI. Metabolic Imaging is a special focus this year.
Deadline for abstract submission is September 15.

A workshop on 3.0T imaging will be available covering the topics of dStream technology and MultiTransmit parallel RF transmission. Participants in the workshop will then move into the clinical applications of Ingenia 3.0T such as special sequences, abdominal and whole body MRI, and neuroimaging, with hands-on training to follow. There will also be a satellite symposium dedicated to fMRI.
