The annual Philips MR Network Meeting for the European, Middle Eastern and Africa (EMEA) regions (June 10-12, Bonn, Germany) and the North American MR Users meeting (August 11-14, Nashville,TN.) were well attended and successful events.

EMEA 2005 meeting provides variety of interesting talks

Clinicians and scientists from 20 international centers together with several Philips representatives delivered talks at the EMEA Philips MR Network meeting in Bonn. The three-day conference's program featured plenary presentations and parallel sessions. Many highlights were recognized among a multitude of fine talks and demonstrations on body, pediatric, mammography, musculoskeletal, neuro, cardiac, MRA, and interventional MRI.

Vanderbilt University hosts 2005 North American users conference

North American customers and representatives convened for three days at Vanderbilt University, which recently started a research program with Philips, after the university acquired several Philips MR systems - 1.5T, 3.0T and 7.0T - for routine work and highlevel research. The meeting started with neuro presentations and then shifted to musculoskeletal and body imaging. The third day focused on CMR topics, including a "How-To" session on CMR ExamCards.
