Dr. Sahani is recognized as one of the world leaders in dual energy CT and he will give us an Overview of Spectral CT and his view on what we can expect of CT in 2030

 

Time to register for the 13th MDCT Users Meeting

 

Registration for the 13th annual MDCT Users Meeting being held on September 15 and 16, 2017, at The Hague in the Netherlands is now open!

 

The MDCT Users Meeting is an educational conference held yearly and dedicated exclusively to Philips Computed Tomography customers. It comprises of a combination of plenary sessions, breakout sessions and hands-on workshops that showcase the state-of-the-art solutions in both conventional CT and spectral CT, as well as post-processing.

 

In attendance this year will be Philips CEO Frans Van Houten as well as the following keynote speakers:
  • Prof. Tim Leiner, UMC Utrecht Nijmegen, The Netherlands - “Initial experience of spectral CT in the vascular domain.
  • Prof. Emmanuel Coche, UCL Brussels, Belgium - “Spectral as a troubleshooter in the emergency department.”
  • Prof. Takeshi Nakaura, Kumamoto University, Japan - “Reduction of contrast media by using low monoE and Texture analysis / machine learning in evaluation of lung lesions.”

MDCT USER MEETING OVERVIEW

 

Meeting set-up:

The two-day educational international Users Meeting commences with plenary sessions on Friday morning, followed by clinical hands-on workshops in the afternoon. Hands-on workshops will run simultaneously and will be repeated three (3) times, allowing all attendees to participate in all workshop sessions. Delegates are to follow the track designated by the colored circle on his/her badge. Hands-on workshops continue Saturday morning and will be followed by plenary sessions and closure.

 

Social event:

All delegates are cordially invited to an enjoyable dinner evening on Friday September 15th.
