ExamCard purpose

This Release 2.6 Achieva 1.5T ExamCard has been created for MR urography studies in children. MR offers excellent anatomical and functional imaging in a single exam without ionizing radiation. The SENSE Body coil is used.

This ExamCard has been developed in cooperation with the Children´s Medical Center Dallas, Oakland Children´s Hospital, Unviversity of Michigan and Red Cross Children´s.

ExamCard overview

This ExamCard offers Spin Echo T1-weighted and T2-weighted images together with contrast-enhanced imaging that can be used to help assess the concentrating and excretory functions of the kidneys.
