Patient preparation

The patient is positioned supine and feet first. 
The 5-channel SENSE Cardiac coil is used.
 
Cardiac triggering is used. For tips see links for related reading below.

The respiratory sensor is positioned below the rib cage, with a separate strap to keep pressure for the best cardiac trace.

Contrast agent/injection protocol

Gadolinium (Gd) based contrast agent is used. Please refer to the label for more information.   

Postprocessing/analysis

Following the study, the 3D dataset is entered into the VolumeView postprocessing package.
MIP projections
are processed in the rotation and tumble orientations with minimal cutting.  
For this ExamCard, the inline post
processing is included.
