ExamCard description

This ExamCard is for use with the SENSE Foot/Ankle coil. It is compatible with release 2.1.3. 

 

SENSE is applied in all sequences for fast, high resolution imaging. 

Asymmetric TSE is used in T1W and in PDW with/without fat suppression.

 

The SENSE Foot/Ankle coil has 8 channels, the minimum imaging FOV of the coil is 280 mm in AP (anterior-posterior) direction and 220 mm in FH (feet-head) and 120 mm in RL (left-right)direction.

 

The coil's design enables easy and stable foot positioning. Details on coil positioning and other information are given in the Instructions for Use and the online training course, see links below:

Volume shim is recommended when SPAIR fat suppression is used. A relatively small shim box helps to get homogeneous fat suppression in the whole foot.

Position the volume shim box (green box) as shown in the images below.
