ExamCard description: 7ch Breast coil - DynaViews

This release 2.5 ExamCard for 3.0T is optimized for diagnostic breast imaging with the 7-channel Breast coil.


It contains axial T1w TSE, axial T2w SPAIR and an axial DynaViews series (interleaved THRIVE).

The low resolution THRIVE scans in the DynaViews series have a voxel size of 0.9x0.9x0.95 mm and a scan time of 1:23 min. 

The high resolution THRIVE in the DynaViews series has a voxel size of 0.66x0.66x0.9 mm and a scan time of 3:03 min.  


Automated post-processing (subtraction) is integrated in the ExamCard for the low resolution THRIVE scans of the DynaViews series.

Contrast agent / injection protocol

A power injector is used for contrast administration.


Gadolinium dose is 0.1 mmol/kg. Injection rate is 2 cc/sec. A saline flush of 20 cc is applied at the end. The gadolinium injecton is started at the same time as the (manual start of the) second dynamic scan.

Post-processing / analysis

DynaCAD is used for post-processing. A dedicated hanging protocol is used.
