ExamCard purpose

This release 2.5 Achieva 3.0T ExamCard has been created by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Bethesda, Maryland, USA. It provides protocols for imaging the prostate gland.

ExamCard overview

 

The scans are acquired using the SENSE Cardiac coil and the Endo coil in dual-coil mode.

 

The DCE 262 pre scan is a T1W FFE pre-contrast scan.

 

The THRIVE Qbody scan is acquired using the Quadrature Body coil. It is a low resolution, 3 stack MobiTrak series post-contrast for general imaging. The scan time is 0:57 sec.

Contrast agent / injection protocol

A gadolinium-based contrast agent was given at a dose of 0.1 mmol/kg BW.

Post-processing / analysis

The ExamCard includes post-processing for the DWI acquisition.

SpectroView is used to post-process the spectroscopy images.
