Patient preparation

A full explanation of the procedure is given, including instructions for the dynamic series.

The patient is positioned supine with their head in the ST SENSE Head coil, with earplugs and headphones in place.

Bite blocks are used for the mouth open series.

The T2 FFE dynamic can be loaded into Advanced Viewing. The images can be scrolled through and a slice position can be choosen. The dynamics at that slice position can be viewed either independently or as a movie, showing the functional information of the joint.
