ExamCard description

This R5.1.7 Ingenia MR-RT 1.5T ExamCard is used to produce MR images for brachytherapy planning in cervix cancer patients scheduled for PDR or HDR brachytherapy.


The FlexCoverage Anterior coil is used in combination with the Posterior coil.

ExamCard overview


Sagittal T2W 2D TSE is used as an additional, fast survey scan to plan the T2w 2D vinklet parallel to the applicator ring.


Axial oblique T2W 2D TSE is used for applicator reconstruction and for definition of the target and organs at risk.


DWIBS is done for additional information on tumor invasion.
