ExamCard purpose

This R4.1.3 ExamCard is used for visualization of degenerative changes in the C-spine. Sensitized flow compensation is used in standard T1 spine imaging, and an optimized refocusing flip angle allows high contrast between spinal cord and dark CSF. This had been a challenge in early 3.0T spinal imaging, leading to the requirement of using T1 FLAIR for these images.

ExamCard overview

Total scan time is 20:20 min.
