ExamCard description

This ExamCard was created on Ingenia 3.0T with release 5.1.7. 

 

In addition to the sagittal T1W, T2W, PDW and STIR scans, there are two different transversal scans in the ExamCard to accommodate for the clinical necessity to scan over five levels or two levels.

Further, a radial myelography scan has been added.

 

All scans provide high spatial and contrast resolution in short scan times.

Patient positioning

Position the patient head first on the patient support.

The head is placed on the dS Base which is positioned at the magnet end of the tabletop. 

The dS Anterior coil can be positioned on the patients' lower abdomen to increase the signal to noise ratio (SNR) in the images. 

Provide the patient with the necessary hearing protection and the nurse call.
