ExamCard purpose

This ExamCard was created on Ingenia 3.0T with release 5.1.7.

 

Three stations are acquired in different weightings, T1W TSE, T2W TSE and STIR. B1 calibration scans are added for each station. Additionally, T1W SPIR scans, providing excellent fat suppression, have been added to the end of the ExamCard.

Patient preparation and positioning

Position the patient head first on the patient support. The head is placed on the dS Base which is positioned at the magnet end of the tabletop.

Provide the patient with the necessary hearing protection and the nurse call. 

Postprocessing

Images from the different stations are fused in the MobiView postprocessing package. Once performed, the fusion in MobiView can be added to the ExamCard as a SmartLine post-processing step for future reuse.
