ExamCard description

This release 4.1.1 ExamCard is designed on Ingenia 3.0T for whole body CE-MRA.
It includes a multistation scan divided in 2 steps.

The first step is a 2-station MRA to cover the carotids and the lower legs. The scan time of the carotids is managed in a way that makes it possible to scan the lower legs in arterial phase afterwards.

After this first step it is necessary to wait at least 10 minutes after first contrast agent injection to reach a good steady state of the contrast media of the blood pool. Otherwise the subtracton of the contrast media out of the second scans will fail.

The second step is a 3-station MRA in the center of the body to cover thorax to upper legs.
A semi-native scan is used before to subtract the contrast agent from first injection.

ExamCard overview

Total scan time: 15.24 min.

Carotids: voxel size 1.2 x 1.2 x. 1.1 / scan time 1.26 min.
Thorax/abdomen: voxel size 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2 / scan time 1.32 min.
Pelvis: voxel size 1.23 x 1.61 x 1.7 / scan time 0.30 min.
Upper leg: voxel size 1.2 x 1.2 x 1.2 / scan time 1.32 min.
Lower leg: voxel size 1.1 x 1.1 x 1.1 / scan time 1.26 min.
