Clinical history

This patient with a BMI of 68 and weighing over 300 pounds came to the emergency department at University Medical Center LSU complaining of abdominal discomfort. The CT technologist performed an abdominal CT scan using the IQon Spectral CT, iPatient and Spectral CT Viewer to perform the exam.

Clinical significance

With the IQon Spectral CT, you have no restrictions on scanning due to size or weight. You can scan even those larger patients that traditionally a scanner might have difficulty scanning.
