Clinical history

This pediatric patient was admitted to the emergency department at Phoenix Children's Hospital after suffering a fall from a high chair. The technologist used the IQon Spectral CT and Spectral CT Viewer to perform the exam.

The brain CT images acquired on the IQon Spectral CT were determined to be normal.

Clinical significance

The low MonoE spectral results provided improved visualization of grey/white matter of the frontal lobe
