Unveil obscured tissue for more accurate diagnosis
O-MAR reduces artifacts caused by metal implants and structures. Together with iDoseā“ (which decreases image noise, and improves spatial resolution at low dose), it enhances visualization of critical structures/target volumes, improving confidence in imaging. Big Bore RT 32-slice uses 32 reconstructed slices of data through overlapped reconstruction that allows for excellent visualization in coronal and sagittal images by reducing splay artifacts in images. Dual-energy allows separation and analysis of materials such as calcium, iodine and uric acid.

* In clinical practice, the use of IMR may reduce CT patient dose depending on the clinical task, patient size, anatomical location, and clinical practice. A consultation with a radiologist and a physicist should be made to determine the appropriate dose to obtain diagnostic image quality for the particular clinical task. Low-contrast detectability and noise were assessed using Reference Body Protocol comparing IMR to FBP; measured on 0.8 mm slices, tested on the MITA CT IQ Phantom (CCT183, The Phantom Laboratory), using human observers.
