Philips 14th annual MDCT User Meeting is set to begin on September 28, 2018 at the Crown Plaza Brussels - Le Plaza in Brussels, Belgium.
The MDCT Users Meeting is a two-day educational conference held yearly and dedicated to Philips Computed Tomography customers. It comprises a combination of plenary sessions, breakout sessions and hands-on workshops that showcase the state-of-the-art solutions in both conventional CT and spectral CT, as well as post-processing.
This year, Professor Emmanuel Coche from
UCL, Brussels will host the meeting. We will discuss the advantages and limitations of spectral CT and outweigh it in the face of state-of-the-art conventional MDCT. Users will also have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops, allowing them to put theory into practice and handle real-life clinical radiological cases under the supervision and guidance of different renowned experts.
Key speakers at the meeting will be:
- Dr. Sahani, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA – “Why moving from conventional to spectral CT? - The Massachusetts General Hospital experience”
- Professor Matos, Fundação Champalimaud, Lisbon, Portugal - “A vison how spectral CT could be a game changer in oncology”
- Dr. Ciobatoru, Nimes, France - “3-D printing: Ready to use in clinical practice?”
