Demo of MRI-guided breast biopsy with MammoTrak

MammoTrak - the dockable patient support with integrated breast coil - fits over the patient table, which means other accessories such as the spine coil can be left in place. It provides improvements in workflow, for example, by allowing the next patient to be fully prepared away from the magnet while the current patient is being scanned.

In breast biopsy procedures, after the needle is placed in the correct position, the patient  on the MammoTrak patient support can be moved to the prep room where the biopsy can take place.

The link below takes you to a demo on the Philips internet site of a breast biopsy procedure using the Elite Breast Clinical Solution.
