Just the FACS

Philips NM Marketing Philips Healthcare

Philips Nuclear Medicine BrightView XCT

With more than 150 systems installed throughout the world within the first 12 months of its introduction, the Philips BrightView XCT simplifies workflow, improves clinical efficiency, and lowers lifecycle costs, while delivering astonishing clinical images. The case for moving to BrightView XCT is now more compelling than ever with the FACS.

FACS provides:
  • Full Iterative Technology (FIT)
  • Astonish
  • Concurrent imaging
  • Small footprint

Full Iterative Technology (FIT)
Philips offers the first and only iterative SPECT/CT. FIT technology allows clinicians to see and do more with less noise, less metal streaking, and increased confidence. Resolution improvements are continually improving performance of the low-dose platform with flat-panel technology.

FIT provides:
  • High resolution
  • Reduced noise
  • Improved Hounsfield Unit (HU) uniformity
  • Slightly larger recon FOV
  • Reduced metal streaks

Astonish - Keeps your focus where it counts: On your patients and their care
Astonish is a proprietary matched dual filtering system that provides increased image quality and resolution at a very low dose. Astonish offers PET-like resolution with increased signal-to-noise and higher image contrast.

Astonish offers:
  • Improved specificity and normalcy with Astonish-AC (multi-center trial validated - September 2009 JNC)
  • Improved laboratory efficiency due to faster acquisition time
  • Half-time imaging
  • Interpretative certainty and diagnostic accuracy
  • Reduced radiation doses with high accuracy (meets ASNC guidelines)

Concurrent imaging - One acquisition. Multiple datasets. Many possibilities.

Concurrent imaging is exclusive technology that enables the acquisition of up to 15 datasets into one acquisition step, giving physicians information more quickly and increasing diagnostic confidence.

Concurrent imaging offers:
  • Improved patient comfort
  • Increased efficiency and productivity
  • Increased diagnostic confidence

Small footprint - Small equipment size and low system weight
Surprisingly compact and easy to install, BrightView XCT fits into a room as small as 15 feet 6 inches long by 12 feet wide.

The XCT has:
  • Low system weight (4,500 lbs; 2045 kg)
  • Large gantry (36 inches/91.4 cm) bore
  • One of the largest SPECT FOV
  • No need for a separate control room with the new innovative In Room Control shield
