Virtual Colonoscopy Course - Melbourne

Join us prior to the ARGANZ 2018 meeting for the Philips Virtual Colonoscopy Course.

 

Overview

In partnership with internationally recognized experts in their field, this two-day course is intended for radiologists and radiographers with an interest in gastrointestinal imaging. This workshop comprises a number of lectures and hands-on learning. Using the Philips Intellispace Portal advanced visualization software, a selection of 50 library cases will be reviewed during the session covering normal, medium and large polyps, and pseudo-lesions.

 

Accreditation

29.5 RANZCR CPD points can be claimed for attendance at the Virtual Colonoscopy Course.

Dr. Frank Parrish
Dr. Frank Parrish
Dr Frank Parrish obtained his FRANZCR in 1998 and currently works at PRG. Frank’s subspecialty interests include Cardiac CT, CT Colonography and Advanced CT Imaging Techniques. He has been performing CT Colonoscopy since 2000 and has been author and co-author of several publications on CT and abdominal imaging, with numerous presentations at local and international meetings. Frank has organised and conducted several interactive CTC workshops in the past.
Dr. Helen Moore
Dr. Helen Moore

Dr. Helen Moore obtained her FRANZCR in 2000, and completed an Advanced Training Position in MRI at Monash Medical Centre (2002). Her main interests are abdominal and pelvic imaging, and she is a body imaging subspecialist at Auckland City Hospital, and at Auckland Radiology Group where she has been performing CT Colonography since 2003. She has published several papers on CTC and presented lectures on the topic at international meetings and workshops. She served three terms on the executive committee of ARGANZ and is on the RANZCR CTC Accreditation committee. She is a member of the NZ Northern Network Bowel Cancer Tumour Stream group, and the National Bowel Cancer Working Group.
