ExamCard purpose

This ExamCard is for a cervical spine examination in large patients using the Flex-L coil, if the Neck-L coil does not fit comfortably. It consists of protocols typically used in cervical spine imaging. Imaging times are under five minutes.

 

Foldover suppression is used to avoid backfolding of signal from outside the spinal cord.

 

Use table position "Low" and thin mattresses to ensure patient comfort.
