ExamCard description

In the Panorama 0.6T protocol set Excellent, the lumbar spine protocol uses a field of view of 360 mm in the sagittal plane. In the Nice and Fast protocol set the FOV is 280-340 mm. In this ExamCard the field of view in the sagittal plane is reduced to 260 mm.  

 

Sometimes a transverse, one-stack scan with large coverage (up to five disk levels) is needed, which is available in this ExamCard. B-FFE3D covers three disk levels with the field of view 220 mm.

 

 

The Body&Spine-M coil is used.

 

Scan times are about 4 minutes in sagittal scans, and about 6 minutes in the transverse scan, covering five disk levels (that is 34-76 slices).

 

Patient positioning should be very precise because of the small field of view.
