ExamCard purpose

This ExamCard for Achieva 1.5T release 2.6 enables visualization of renal and mesenteric arteries without contrast agent, which can be valuable on patients with contraindications for contrast agents.

We added Philips' B_TFE_RENAL_BH sequence to our routine study (step 6) to enable non-contrast enhanced MRA of renal arteries. This Philips' pre-programmed sequence can be found among the listed Philips sequences: under the abdomen file, click on Angio, followed by Specials.  You can drag this sequence into your renal ExamCard to use it. Only the number of slices, REST slabs and possibly time "in seconds" may require adjustments.  We find a routine 27 seconds breath hold works only on a few patients.  You will most likely have to adjust for breath hold ability.
