Patient preparation

The SENSE Torso XL coil should be positioned on the patient to cover the anatomy of interest.  Typically if the bottom of the coil is placed at the level of the pubic symphysis this will provide necessary signal to image the organs of the abdominal pelvic cavity.

This ExamCard uses respiratory triggering and therefore the respiratory belt should be placed according to instructions available in the Application Guide delivered with the system.  If respiratory navigator is available (R 2.6 and higher) it can be used as a alternative to the respiratory belt.

Contrast agent / injection protocol

Timing of the card assumes that the site is using a power injector and that venous access is obtained prior to the initiation of the ExamCard.

Post-processing / analysis

MPR and MobiView post processing is added to the ExamCard. These post processing steps will be automatically performed.
