Contrast agent / injection protocol

0.5 cc per kg (half dose).

Post-processing / analysis

The T1W_3D_TFE sagittal pre- and post-contrast (scans 6/11) are reformatted into coronal and axial planes.

Multiplanar reconstructions of the B-FFE_IAC (scan 7) are accomplished to include oblique, coronal and sagittal views of each independent side demonstrating the three branches of the trigeminal nerve and bony structures of the inner ear.

B-FFE reconstructions:  1 mm zero-gap oblique coronal and sagittal 12 slices parallel and perpendicular to the IACs (sides done independently). Oblique coronals demonstrate long axis of nerve canal, oblique sagittal demonstrates cross-sectional cuts of all three branches of the trigeminal nerve root system and cochlea.
