ExamCard purpose

This Release 2 SmartExam ExamCard is used for patients who are suspected of having:

  1. Trigeminal nerve pathologies (tumor, neuritis, vascular compression).
  2. Cavernous sinus and Meckel's cave pathologies (tumors, thrombosis, vascular malformations).
  3. Clival pathologies (osteomyelitis, tumors).
  4. Peri neural spread of tumor to the V nerve from head and neck tumors, especially from masticator space, paranasal sinuses.
  5. Any other abnormality of central skull base.

The object of the ExamCard is to reduce slice thickness and to give high resolution images with a small FOV so that the very thin anatomical structures can be visualized.
