ExamCard description

This ExamCard is applied for patients with clinical presentation of stroke and transient ischemic attacks. It is intended for rapid stroke evaluation using SENSE. The total scan time is 4 min.

The ExamCard provides a rapid evaluation of acute ischemic strokes using DWI, with a T2W sequence for overview assessment of the brain, while a susceptibility-weighted sequence (FFE T2*) is used for assessment of hemorrhage. An assessment of the intracranial arterial circulation using an unenhanced 3D Time-Of-Flight sequence completes the protocol.
