ExamCard purpose

This Release 2 SmartExam ExamCard is used for patient suspected of having:

 

1. Narrowing of one or more of the large vessels of the Circle of Willis in stroke patients.

2. Suspected aneurysm / vascular malformation

3. Anatomical variants

4. Screen for post treatment aneurysm / vascular malformation

Notes:

The 3D HI RES scan is 3D MOTSA sequence is which produces sub-millimeter, high resolution 3D images of the Circle of Willis.

Patient preparation

The 8-channel SENSE Head coil was used.
