Ingenia 1.5T Liver overview including MultiVane

ExamCard purpose

This Ingenia 1.5T ExamCard Release 4.1.3 is created for liver imaging.

The dS Torso coil solution, consisting of the Anterior and Posterior coil, and the dS Base coil are used for scanning.

The total scan time of the ExamCard is 17:07 min.

A coronal T2W series is scanned in two stations. This can be performed without replacing the Anterior coil, if it is positioned correctly on the patient's chest/abdomen.

mDIXON-All_BH provides an overview of the liver in the axial plane with also in- and out-of-phase images.

The ExamCard includes two T2W_TSE series. One is for scanning with the navigator, the other is scanned with MultiVane. A similar apraoch is used for the T2W SPAIR.
The sequences with MultiVane are scanned with a higher resolution.

The DWI_4b_nav is a diffusion weighted scan with four b-values: b0, b20, b300 and b600. This is scanned with the navigator.

Patient preparation

The patient is positioned supine and feet first.
This exam is scanned with dS Torso coil solution consisting of the anterior and posterior coil.
The respiratory sensor needs to be positioned on the patient.

Postprocessing

Postprocessing steps are included in the ExamCard.

PicturePlus is used for the T2W TSE and T2W SPAIR.

Two inline post-processing steps are included for the DWI_4b_nav sequence.
One is for creating an ADC with all b-values. The other is for creating an ADC with b-values 0 and 600.
