ExamCard description

This R5.1.7 ExamCard for Ingenia 1.5T MR-RT is used for patients with brain metastasis referred for stereotactic treatment, when MRI and CT simulation is requested.

ExamCard overview

3D T1W FFE serves as reference scan for the scan after gadolinium injection.

3D T1W FFE post gado is a 3D sequence, allowing for reconstruction in coronal and sagittal planes, helping evaluation of the tumor and OAR delineations.

DWI images typically show high signal intensity in tumor and low signal intensity on ADC. This sequence is used as a reference scan for tumor localization and in the follow up to monitor recurrences.
